Our Leadership Team
Frances and her husband, Jim, co-founded the Sidney Pharmacy in 1959 and opened the first location on Beacon Avenue. While Frances has since retired from her pharmaceutical duties, she still stays updated on her pharmacy's day-to-day activities.
Frances has lived her entire life on Vancouver Island and loves being a part of the island's neighbourly community. She is an avid reader of all genres and will always drink the strongest cup of coffee you can find.
Frances,
our co-founder
Judy is Frances' third-eldest and has been working at the Sidney Pharmacy and serving the Sidney community for the last forty years. She has a quick grin and is at our pharmacy every day - Monday to Friday - without fail. Like her mother and sister, Judy is a born-and-bred "Victorian" and plans to always call the island home.
She enjoys being an active member of her community, and you might see her at the local pool or a yoga studio. Judy currently lives with her family in Oak Bay, and her backyard houses an enormous collection of grape vines.
Judy,
our store manager
Becky is Frances' eldest daughter and has been filling prescriptions at the Sidney Pharmacy for almost three decades. She left Vancouver Island to complete her pharmaceutical studies at the University of British Columbia, but returned soon after. Vancouver Island has been - and will always be - home for her.
Becky has spent years getting to know the clientele of Sidney Pharmacy and can remember the names of everyone who walks in our doors. She currently lives with her husband in Central Saanich, where they tend to a very large vegetable garden with two fruitful fig trees.
Becky,
our assistant store manager and pharmacist
David hails from England and has been Sidney Pharmacy's valued pharmacy manager for almost forty years. He joined our team in 1979, and has happily been a part of the Saanich Peninsula community ever since, dispensing quick smiles and thoughtful advice to all of our customers.
David lived in Sidney for several years and now lives close by in Oak Bay. David is an avid gamer - both board games and computer games. David is also a HUGE fan of Arsenal football (soccer). In his youth, David loved to play rugby; he now loves to watch rugby.
